"Undiscovered: Connor's Affluence" is a text-based adventure game made with Python. It was created for a university project as an introduction to Python. The name "Undiscovered: Connor's Affluence" is just a legally distinct version of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
Story
The story of the game is based around a mysterious island in the Caribbean that was colonised by the Romans and was rediscovered by the Spanish conquistadors but has now sat undisturbed for centuries.
You play as the treasure hunter who has acquired the 500 year old possessions of a Spanish conquistador in which you find a letter, map, and a set of instructions in an unknown language. In the letter it describes a vault on an island with treasure locked within it that the Spanish conquistadors were unable to retrieve. After sailing for many days you locate the island, you anchor your boat just off of the coast of the island and venture onto the island.
There are many references to Roman culture on the island. There is a wolf statue as a reference to the she-wolf that suckled the twin founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus. There is a Roman fort with a carving of an "Aquila", an imperial eagle of the Roman empire. There is a Christian church on the island to date the colonisation of the island to the period after the reign of Emperor Constantine the Great.
Instructions
In the game you have some instructions that help you get to the end of the game, they are written in a fictional language and you can find translations for words when you examine certain items and notes.

Puzzles
There are many puzzles on the island that you need to solve to get items that you need to finish the game. Some of the puzzles require items to solve whereas some require you to explore the island and find solutions within the environment. This is a diagram showing how to get through to the ‘true’ end of the game. There is an alternative ending in the game that you get by returning to your boat and leaving the island.
